Charging can still be a pain
Recently I got new chargers and power banks for when I'm out of the house. These work really well, as intended. But it also drew my attention to how bad charging can be when using "standard" USB charging.
Yesterday I was staying at a cheap hotel and they made the in hindsight poor decision of replacing nearly all of ita plugs with USB A ports. These not only charge slowly but also cause the phone you are charging to get increasingly and worryingly hot! Which is far worse than slow charging. This is both an iPhone thing and an Android thing.
I could say they should now replace with USB C, but that could change in a decades time. Instead, just use regular plugs. People visiting hotels will still have their chargers on them. Plus, they are smaller, more efficient, and versatile then before.
